We are actively recruiting for a Clinical Supervisor, LPN for our South Jersey Fertility Center in Marlton, NJ. Additional locations in Sewell and Egg Harbor Township.

The Clinical Supervisor (LPN) provides day-to-day clinical oversight and operational support to assigned care sites, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and consistent clinical workflows. This role partners closely with physicians, practice leadership, and clinical staff to support patient safety, staff development, and efficient clinic operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate directly in patient office visits and assist providers with clinical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the care team to support staff recruitment, scheduling, training, development, coaching, performance appraisals, and progressive discipline when necessary.
  • Create and manage staff schedules (including Medical Assistants), assigning work based on department needs, patient volume, and individual staff strengths.
  • Perform phone triage, review laboratory results, complete prescription authorizations, return patient phone calls, and send patient result letters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluate and assess patient health care needs based on reported signs and symptoms, utilizing established triage protocols and clinical guidelines.
  • Obtain appropriate input and direction from providers to determine the best clinical course of action and patient-specific recommendations.
  • Accurately document patient symptoms, complaints, nursing assessments, and advice provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Follow organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols to ensure consistency, departmental effectiveness, and improved patient outcomes and access to care.
  • Support daily clinic operations, including patient flow, staffing coverage, and escalation of clinical or operational issues.
  • Participate in rotating weekend shifts as required, with time off during the week as operational needs allow.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to Medical Assistants and Lead Medical Assistants.
  • Assign, direct, and monitor daily work activities to ensure adequate coverage, efficient patient flow, and adherence to clinical workflows.
  • Partner with practice leadership and providers on staffing decisions, performance management, and corrective action planning.
  • Conduct or support performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and progressive discipline in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing competency development for Medical Assistants and Lead Medical Assistants.
  • Serve as a clinical and operational escalation point for the MA team.

Education & Experience:

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (NJ state-specific).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory setting.
  • Prior experience in a lead, supervisory, or charge role strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with EHR systems and healthcare IT;
    Artisan experience preferred.
