• Drive sales by contributing to store sales goals through selling furniture, accessories, and services offered by La-Z-Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve established Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and provide a favorable customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, customized portfolio presentations, handling objections, closing, follow-up, and ongoing customer contact.
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product lines.

• Design Program:
  Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs and the benefits of professional installation.
• Execute and champion the Design process following company guidelines.
• Support design-related functions in the store.

• Customer Focus:
  Provide the highest level of customer service and ensure informative, positive experiences by following the company selling process.
• Use tools (e.g., Podium) to ensure customer satisfaction and future follow-up.
• Make sound business decisions to deliver customer satisfaction and promote teamwork.
• Respond to incoming calls and emails; assist in handling customer issues and provide solutions.

• People:
  Maintain positive working relationships with all store employees; train, coach, and develop new peers on product knowledge and selling skills; promote a culture of sales and service.

• Operational Excellence:
  Maintain showroom appearance, manage displays, tagging, catalogs, design center fabrics, support floor moves, and store cleanliness; complete order information, deposits, and customer records; schedule deliveries; open/close store.

• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred
