Hospitality Assistant – Guards Polo Club, Windsor, Berkshire

Job Type: Contract (0 hours per week) | Salary: £12.71 plus tips | 7 days operation

The Guards Polo Club is an English polo club in Windsor, Berkshire, founded by HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, in 1955. It hosts world‑class tournaments such as the Cartier Queen’s Cup.

As a Hospitality Assistant you will deliver service excellence to guests and clients during events, providing food and drinks, clearing, and supporting all hospitality operations.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and polish all cutlery, glasses, and crockery for the next event
  • Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to guests in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner
  • Work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks
  • Serve guests with a genuine and positive demeanour, ensuring service is efficient and of the highest quality
  • Serve in licensed bars, handling alcoholic beverages
  • Use coffee machines
  • Assist with deliveries as required
  • Prepare all hospitality requirements, reporting any missing items to the line manager
  • Count, pack, and remove any linen and equipment hired for an event after completion
  • Demonstrate excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
  • Exhibit excellent communication, time‑management, and customer care skills
  • Display strong presentation skills and a team‑player attitude
