• Support the execution of regional trade compliance programmes across EMEA.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs laws, sanctions and trade controls.
• Partner with internal teams and external customs brokers to support compliant cross‑border transactions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Support audits, compliance assessments and corrective action initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve customs and trade‑related issues, including shipment holds and documentation discrepancies.
• Prepare compliance reports, metrics and documentation for management and regulatory purposes.
• Support process improvements, automation and digitalisation initiatives within trade compliance operations.
• Assist with trade compliance training and awareness activities.
• Collaborate with global trade compliance teams to align regional practices with corporate policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Law, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in trade compliance, customs, import/export operations or global trade management.
• Strong understanding of EMEA customs regulations, export controls, sanctions and international trade requirements.
• Practical experience with tariff classification, customs valuation, origin determination and customs broker management.
• Familiarity with EU dual‑use regulations, UK export controls and sanctions compliance frameworks (preferred).
• Experience working within multinational or matrix organisations.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/system knowledge (SAP GTS preferred).
• Professional certifications (e.g., customs broker licence or trade compliance certification) are a plus.
• Fluent in English;
  Dutch and/or another European or Middle Eastern language is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working independently, exercising sound judgment and advising stakeholders on complex compliance matters.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and functions.

• Competitive base salary range: EUR 52,300 – 78,500.
