Finance Director

About Our Client

Our client is an international, privately owned industrial group with multiple production locations across Europe and beyond. The organisation operates in a business‑to‑business manufacturing environment, supplying tailored products and solutions to a global customer base.

• End‑to‑end responsibility for group finance, accounting, and reporting
• Management of group consolidation
  , statutory reporting, and monthly and annual closings
• Preparation of annual accounts and coordination with external auditors and advisors
• Leadership and development of international finance teams
• Oversight of HR administration and payroll processes in cooperation with external providers
• Cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimisation
• Management of banking relationships and financing structures
• Responsibility for tax compliance and structuring
  , including VAT and corporate income tax
• Oversight of insurance programmes and financial risk management
• Ownership and optimisation of the finance IT and ERP landscape
• Active involvement in M&A activities
  , integrations, and other strategic initiatives

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 5-10+ years of relevant experience, including senior finance leadership positions
• Background in an international, operational, and asset‑heavy environment
• Strong strategic capabilities combined with a hands‑on and pragmatic approach
• Proven experience operating at both executive and operational levels
• Solid exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and seniority levels
• Ambitious, resilient, and growth‑oriented leader with a high level of ownership
• Dutch & English
• Five days on‑site preferred
