As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll lead efforts to enhance our warehouse processes, focusing on both manual and technical aspects to foster a productive and innovative environment. Working alongside a team of 2 Lean Specialists, 4 Engineers, and 2 Key Users you'll collaborate to implement structural improvements that optimize daily operations and drive efficiency.
Your role extends beyond the warehouse walls, as you'll closely collaborate with other departments within GXO to align efforts and achieve our shared objectives. With your expertise and leadership, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives forward.

Your tasks consist of:
- Defines and develops projects according to customer needs, in accordance with agreed internal procedures.
- Works according to a standard project methodology and prepares project plans and budgets.
- Monitors project progress and project costs.
- Establish improvement proposals in business cases.
- Supervise the implementation of new processes.
- Develop, implement and maintain CI strategy, identify opportunities and analyze causes of problems using Lean improvement projects.
- Responsible to save costs using the LEAN method.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- You have HBO or WO working and thinking level.
- You have at least 4 years of experience in managing a team of engineers in a logistics environment.
- Either Green belt or Black belt Six Sigma.
- You are fluent in English, with Dutch an advantage and have good communication skills, both written and orally.
- You have demonstrable results in improving processes in your role as a manager.
- You enjoy coaching others and making improvements along the way.
- You have strong analytical skills.
