Job Title:
PMO Leader – Disease Management Solutions
This role leads end‑to‑end, cross‑functional programs from concept through commercialization, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative software products, systems, and solutions for the Radiology and Urology markets.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end cross‑functional programs from concept through commercialization.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, marketing, service, clinical collaborators, and external partners to align priorities, manage risk, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide leadership for large, multidisciplinary project teams, coaching Project Leaders and technical leads while driving collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Manage program financials, including budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) alignment, while balancing scope, schedule, quality, and business objectives.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of Philips Disease Management Solutions by implementing best practices, improving project execution, and helping bring next‑generation healthcare technologies to market.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex Research & Development project or program management initiatives in the medical technology industry, with experience delivering cross‑functional projects spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.
- Experience leading other Project Leaders and large, multidisciplinary teams is strongly preferred.
- Strong skills in project and portfolio management, stakeholder management, financial planning, risk management, Agile and SAFe methodologies, and product development through commercialization.
- Bonus: PMP or Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification, along with experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 quality standards.
- Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Program Management or equivalent; 9+ years of work‑related experience.
- Advanced degree or relevant project management certifications are considered a plus.
- Experience leading integrated hardware and software development programs, balancing technical dependencies, risk, and execution across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Collaborative and strategic leader who builds strong relationships, influences across functions, communicates effectively with technical and business stakeholders, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment focused on delivering innovative healthcare solutions.
The base salary range for this role is €78.187 to €130.312 Gross per annum. Pay within the range is determined using objective factors, including the skills required, relevant experience, role responsibilities, internal equity and local market considerations. The role is eligible for a maximum 3% bonus, linked to KPIs and company results. The full reward approach will be discussed during the interview process.
Howwe work together
For our office‑based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an office role.
