- Marketing & Communication Specialist with expertise in Media Relations & Publicity Management. You are a media-savvy communicator with a passion for storytelling in the fashion, retail, or logistics space. You will lead media relations and publicity efforts, acting as the key liaison between the brand and journalists, influencers, and trade publications. This role shapes our reputation among fashion brands, e-commerce retailers, and industry stakeholders.
- As a mid-to-senior level team member, you will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives.
- You will apply a strategic mindset with hands-on execution to drive and guard our brand image.
- This role is ideal for a marketing professional with experience in B2B or B2C industries, preferably in logistics, fashion, or technology.
- Given our international presence, fluency in English and Dutch is required. Fluency in Spanish and other European languages is a plus.
- Develop and execute media strategies that align with brand and business goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with fashion, retail, supply chain, and logistics journalists.
- Craft press releases, executive bios, company announcements, case studies, and thought leadership content.
- Proactively pitch stories to trade media, business outlets, and relevant influencers.
- Coordinate interviews, media tours, and speaking opportunities at industry events.
- Track and report on media coverage and campaign performance using media monitoring tools.
- Support PR elements of integrated marketing campaigns, product/service launches, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and executive teams to align messaging across channels.
- Manage media responses during sensitive issues or crisis situations.
- Proactively manage all brand exposure and recognition opportunities.
- Stay ahead of fashion logistics and e-commerce trends to identify timely media opportunities.
- Monitor and report on brand visibility KPIs and media relations objectives.
- Masters degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Min. 10 years of experience in PR, communications, or media relations — ideally in logistics, fashion/lifestyle brands, or B2B services.
- Proven track record of securing media placements in trade, business, or mainstream press.
- Experience representing companies at industry events or coordinating press engagements.
- Background in working with PR agencies, logistics firms, or within the fashion ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Strong writing and editorial skills with a flair for turning complex logistics solutions into clear, compelling stories.
- Deep understanding of media relations within the fashion, retail, or supply chain sectors.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to execute PR campaigns from idea to coverage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing relationships with media and internal stakeholders.
- Native in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Spanish is important for this role.
- Experience with media monitoring and PR platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Cision, Mention).
- Knowledge of PR distribution services and media contact databases.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and web content tools (e.g., CMS platforms).
