The roleThis is a full‑cycle SaaS sales role, positioned within Customer Success.
As an Account Manager (SaaS), you own the lead‑to‑close SaaS sales cycle— from prospecting to closing—to grow Ctrl Chain’s customer base and revenue. You work closely with Sales colleagues, who also engage in SaaS opportunities, but commercial ownership for SaaS sits with Customer Success.
After closing, you ensure a structured handover to our onboarding and implementation team, who take over adoption and go‑live.
What you’ll do- Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification
- Run discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and business goals
- Deliver compelling, tailored demos of the Ctrl Chain platform
- Build value‑driven proposals based on ROI, efficiency gains, and operational impact
- Negotiate and close SaaS deals
- Consistently meet or exceed commercial targets
- Manage a commercial SaaS customer portfolio
- Identify and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
- Stay engaged with customers to identify key commercial moments
- Collaborate closely with Sales and join customer/prospect meetings
- Work with onboarding/implementation colleagues to ensure a smooth handover after close
- Share market and customer insights with Product and Marketing
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity reporting in CRM
You’re a driven Account Manager who thrives in a new business full‑cycle (SaaS) sales role and is passionate about building relationships that deliver measurable results. You enjoy solving problems with smart tech. You excel at building trust with decision‑makers and thrive on closing deals that deliver real value to customers.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 1 year of experience in SaaS or B2B sales (Account Executive, BDM, AM, or similar).
- Has a proven experience owning full‑cycle sales (prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, close).
- Is fluent in Dutch and professional in English.
- Is commercially driven, structured, and comfortable closing deals.
- Can translate complex software into clear business value.
- Has knowledge of CRM tools such as Hub Spot.
- Bonus: experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain.
- A true SaaS sales role, owned by Customer Success
