Position: Inside Sales Specialist (German)

Day in the life of an Inside Sales Specialist

The role requires proactively managing customer interactions, identifying sales opportunities, and progressing them through the sales funnel while collaborating closely with Field Sales, Marketing, and Order Management teams. Success in this position means balancing structured sales processes with autonomy, leveraging CRM and sales tools, and continuously developing customer relationships and business potential within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  • Actively seek out accounts within the designated region to grow both new and current businesses by identifying contacts, understanding customer needs, and discovering ongoing or future projects that can become sales opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities by researching target accounts, mapping decision‑makers, and engaging relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform all Inside Sales activities, including lead qualification, opportunity creation, and appointment setting for Field Sales teams.
  • Actively manage and progress opportunities through all stages of the sales funnel, executing defined activities to move deals forward in line with funnel management and sales stage requirements.
  • Work closely with Field Sales colleagues to identify key contacts and growth opportunities within Fluke’s installed base and prospect accounts.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for end users and Field Sales colleagues for commercial and sales‑related inquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and maintain CRM data quality, ensuring timely updates on opportunity status, pipeline health, and sales outcomes.
Your Team

You will be part of a dynamic, international team of 10+ Inside Sales specialists. The team values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a positive, non‑competitive environment. Regular integration activities and close cross‑country collaboration create a supportive and engaging workplace where individuals can develop and succeed together.

Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a technical field.
  • 1–2 years of Inside Sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably working with international customers or channel partners.
  • Experience selling or supporting high‑tech or professional industry products.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office tools (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or any other Customer Relationship Manager.
Personal Skills
  • Fluency in English (business language) and German. Any additional languages are a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, results‑driven mindset with a strong interest in sales and business development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and customer‑oriented manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating integrity and good judgement.
