Toyota of El Cajon is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of our accounting department within a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.

Responsibilities Maintain vendor records, including W-9 forms and insurance documentation

Receive, review, process, and post vendor invoices daily

Reconcile reports to ensure accurate allocation of charges and payments

Review invoices, vouchers, and check requests for accuracy and obtain appropriate approvals

Post and reconcile intercompany transactions

Process and prepare accounts payable checks for mailing

Maintain and reconcile sublet schedules

Reconcile factory statements

Process annual 1099 reporting

Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Assist with month-end closing activities

Prepare account analyses and reconciliations

Process unclaimed property reports

Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Experience with dealership management systems is preferred

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
