Accounting Assistant

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Post General Ledger transactions as directed.
• Post investment payments.
• Monitor and process stale-dated corporate checks.
• Maintain offsite storage records.
• Process member wire transfers and ACH transactions.
• Prepare and submit State of California Department of Business Oversight reports.
• Process federal and state IRA withholding.
• Manage the Post Office Reply Account.
• Maintain fixed asset inventory records.
• Order office supplies.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• At least 1 year of recent accounting or ACH-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ATM experience.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Experience with Symitar.
• Previous bank or credit union experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree.

Pay Rate Range: $22.00- $26.00 an hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
