Overview
Lo-Har Senior Living is seeking a Business Office Manager to provide clerical and administrative support to department leaders and the Executive Director. The role involves organizing and maintaining resident and staff files, tracking resident charges, performing billing functions, executing payroll-related tasks and assisting with benefits administration, and ensuring a professional business office to support smooth community operation.
Responsibilities- Provide clerical and administrative support to department leaders and the Executive Director
- Organize and maintain resident and staff files
- Track resident charges and perform billing functions
- Execute payroll-related functions and assist with benefits administration
- Maintain a professional business office to facilitate smooth community operation
- Act as the central point of contact for all job applicants at the community
- Conduct pre‑employment assessments, post‑employment exit interviews, and other employee onboarding tasks
- Perform other duties assigned by the Executive Director or designee
- Superior communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
- Resilient, dependable, punctual, with a professional demeanor
- Ability to self‑manage time and work priorities and provide timely, accurate reporting
- Adaptable and flexible in response to resident and staff needs
- Willingness to collaborate with others and work as part of a team
- Strong organization and multi‑tasking capabilities
- Compassionate, empathetic, and a careful listener
- Exhibits positive customer service, including respectfulness, friendliness, and willingness to assist
- High School diploma or GED required;
Associate’s Degree in Business Management preferred - Prior office and payroll experience preferred
- Experience with interviewing, training, supervising, and evaluating office staff preferred
- Experience with various office equipment, computer operating systems, word processing programs, spreadsheets, and e‑mail preferred
Salary Range: $70,304 - $72,000
