SUMMARY
Under administrative leadership, it is the responsibility of part time faculty to perform tasks which support advancement of the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Part time faculty have responsibilities in regards to their classroom assignment, evaluation of students, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and any assignment-specific needs.

- Master’s in geology, geophysics, earth sciences, meteorology, oceanography, or paleontology OR
- Bachelor’s in geology AND Master’s in geography, physics, or geochemistry OR
- The equivalent.

GCCCD recruits for Part Time Faculty positions year-round. Applications will be kept in the pool for a period of one year and may be contacted for interviews on an as-needed basis.
