Salary: $22.58 - $28.24 Hourly (Full‑Time)

The Grossmont‑Cuyamaca Community College District seeks a qualified individual to serve as a Library Technician II. The incumbent will perform a variety of technical duties related to public service, circulation, and cataloging resources under the direction of the assigned supervisor.

• Assist patrons with library services, including circulation and reference.
• Perform cataloging and classification tasks for library materials.
• Maintain accurate records of library inventory and circulation data.
• Support library staff with technology operations and troubleshooting.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of library publications.

• Two years of college‑level coursework in library science or two years of full‑time library experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong technical skills and familiarity with library circulation and cataloging systems.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic library environment.

• Retirement – CalPERS
• 19 paid holidays per year
• Vacation – starting at 10 days per year; increases with length of service
