Salary: $22.58 - $28.24 Hourly (Full‑Time)

The Grossmont‑Cuyamaca Community College District seeks a qualified individual to serve as a Library Technician II. The incumbent will perform a variety of technical duties related to public service, circulation, and cataloging resources under the direction of the assigned supervisor.
Responsibilities- Assist patrons with library services, including circulation and reference.
- Perform cataloging and classification tasks for library materials.
- Maintain accurate records of library inventory and circulation data.
- Support library staff with technology operations and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of library publications.
- Two years of college‑level coursework in library science or two years of full‑time library experience with increasing responsibility.
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with library circulation and cataloging systems.
- Effective communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic library environment.
- Retirement – CalPERS
- 19 paid holidays per year
- Vacation – starting at 10 days per year; increases with length of service
- Sick leave – 12 paid sick days per year (for 12 working months)
