Summary

We are currently representing an established Mechanical Contractor seeking Project Engineers at all levels to join their growing team. This role is designed as a stepping stone toward Project Manager, with clear career advancement opportunities. With over 50 years in operation and a dominant presence in the Mechanical Construction space, this is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to grow with a reputable industry leader.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct project development throughout its lifecycle
  • Work on commercial and industrial projects, including tenant improvements (TI), ground‑up builds, and design‑build assignments
  • Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals
  • Coordinate team members, resources, and stakeholders to meet targets
  • Prepare and present project budgets, including adjustments as needed
  • Manage project expectations and maintain communication with team and management
  • Assign and oversee tasks to ensure timely and quality execution
  • Identify project risks, resolve deficiencies, and ensure key milestones are met
  • Create and maintain project timelines and schedules
  • Use project management and estimating tools efficiently (Microsoft Suite, etc.)
  • Generate progress reports, proposals, and supporting documentation
  • Proactively address scope changes, potential issues, and develop contingency plans
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC industry standards and regulations
  • Hands‑on experience in HVAC equipment installation and maintenance
  • Effective team management and leadership abilities
  • Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and manage deadlines
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the HVAC/Mechanical industry
