Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing, conducting research, and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
  • Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.
  • Develop mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Ensure system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities, and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, and requesting special services as needed.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, and obtaining necessary certifications.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in Engineering Analysis, PCBs, Solid Works,
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and the design of electrical enclosures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex system analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to work, with a strong drive for results and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance
