The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Director, Payroll. The incumbent will independently plan, organize and direct all District payroll services and operations; efficiently plan, organize and supervise payroll activities and retirement processing; perform a variety of complex and specialized duties related to payroll functions and recordkeeping for District personnel. Initial Salary Placement:
New to the District:
Confidential Administrators new to the District shall be placed on the step of the appropriate salary range based upon an evaluation of the type and level of previous experience. Step placement is based on full-time years of relevant experience in a comparable position in addition to the minimum required qualifications and experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The equivalent to an earned Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, public administration, finance, or related field. Three years of directly related and increasingly responsible supervisory or management experience in a payroll function, preferably in an education, governmental, or non-profit institution.
