Day Tripper Tours is looking for a sharp, highly organized and hands-on Operations Coordinator to join our small and energetic team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has moved beyond entry level and is ready to take greater ownership of the day-to-day logistics behind successful tours.
We are preferably looking for someone with 2-3+ years of experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or a closely related industry, with experience working directly with vendors. You should be comfortable negotiating rates and services, managing deadlines, solving problems quickly, and keeping multiple tours and priorities moving simultaneously.
This role requires someone who is logistically strong, detail-oriented and exceptionally organized - both digitally and at their desk. You should have excellent time-management skills, a positive attitude, and a natural tendency to look for solutions rather than simply identify problems.
You will work closely with hotels, restaurants, attractions, transportation companies and other travel partners; coordinate tour logistics and itineraries; track vendor commitments and deadlines; and ensure every detail is in place before departure. You will also interact directly with our customers, so being confident, personable and professional on the phone is essential.

What We'RE Looking For- Preferably 2-3+ years of travel/tourism, hospitality or related industry experience
- Proven experience working with vendors and negotiating rates and services
- Excellent logistical, organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, tours and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Professional, confident and personable telephone/customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized workspace and digital files
- Self-starter who takes initiative, takes ownership and follows through
- Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work well within a small team
- Proficient with the latest technology, Microsoft Office Suite, and AI tools, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
