Position Summary
Secondary Machinists at Micro Mode Products will work alongside and support the main machinist team to achieve production goals and meet quality standards in the RF connector business. This position is critical in assisting with the daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring that components are produced efficiently and to specifications.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of machines to manufacture parts and components.
- Inspect and adjust machines as needed to ensure parts are made according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including keeping tools in good working order.
- Support team efforts and assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving machine-related issues.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Perform other tasks and duties as directed by the Machine Shop Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in machining, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Willingness to learn new skills and share knowledge with other team members.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
