Recycling Associate

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Recycling Associate to support daily recycling operations. This role involves sorting materials, maintaining a clean work area, and helping ensure recyclable items are processed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and separate recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, etc.)
• Inspect items and remove non-recyclable or contaminated materials
• Operate basic equipment such as balers, compactors, or conveyor systems (training provided)
• Load and unload materials from trucks or bins
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling guidelines
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns

Job Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, labor, or recycling experience is a plus (not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Ability to lift up to [40–50 lbs] and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Dependable and punctual
