Education

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

Entry-to-intermediate mechanical aptitude Experience using measuring tools and shop math preferred Manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus

Job Duties

Set up and operate sheet metal forming machines and rolling/cold drawing equipment Measure, mark, lay out, deburr, and form sheet metal parts Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications Maintain a clean and safe work area

Preferred Qualifications

Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Sheet Metal Associate.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

As a Sheet Metal Associate you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations. A Sheet Metal Associate contributes to manufacturing by performing a variety of production responsibilities that support efficient operations and quality products.

This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely throughout every shift. The Sheet Metal Associate supports manufacturing through product assembly, inspection, packaging, material handling, and adherence to production procedures while maintaining quality and workplace safety.
