We are currently seeking a highly-skilled, detail-oriented Consulting CNC Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC machinery, including 5-axis machines, with a focus on laser operations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of blueprint reading, and the ability to calibrate equipment with precision. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain CNC machinery, including 5-axis machines, with a special focus on laser operations.

Read, interpret, and implement blueprints and design specifications accurately.

Calibrate equipment using micrometers and calipers to ensure precision in operations.

Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to machine operation.

Perform regular inspections on machinery and work pieces to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Coordinate with the consulting team to provide expert advice and suggestions for process improvements.

Train and guide junior operators on best practices in CNC machine operation.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine operation, specifically with 5-axis machines and laser operations.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and design specifications.

Demonstrated ability to calibrate equipment using micrometers and calipers.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to CNC machine operation.

Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing industry.

A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently when required.

A degree or certification in a related field would be advantageous.
