Position Details:
Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Primarily serving patients in El Cajon, CA and nearby San Diego County locations.
Schedule: Part-Time, flexible hours based on patient needs.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, skilled nursing care to patients in their homes following established care plans.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the physician and clinical supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication compliance, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency policies and state/federal regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team (Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Home Health Aides, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in a clinical setting, preferably in home health, acute care, or skilled nursing facility.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Must be professional, empathetic, and dedicated to providing quality care.
