ENGAGE: Prom Dress Giveaway

Join the Princess Project in helping teens find their dress for prom! Every teen that comes to the store is greeted, partnered with a personal shopper, and assisted in the fitting room. Once they find their dream gown, they get to pick out a free accessory before checking out. Volunteers are needed to help with all of these activities.
Volunteers must complete the online waiver before attending their first shift.

Attire: This opportunity takes place indoors. Please wear closed-toeshoes (sneakers are best!) and dress in comfortable clothing. Their signature colors are pink and navy blue - feel free to wear lots of sparkle if you'd like!

Bring: Bottled water. Lunch/dinner will be provided to volunteers.

Physical Requirements: Able to carry 20lbs and stand for 3 hours. Unfortunately, this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.

Photos: No photos in the dress store to protect the privacy of the teens. Their team is happy to take pictures of you in the front or back of the store.

The mission of the Princess Project is to promote self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school teens. Their effort is made possible through invaluable support from volunteers, donors, sponsors, and the community.
