Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry.
This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the El Cajon, California area.
- Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
- Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
Note: Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.
Qualifications- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
- Must reside in the El Cajon, California area.
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnights required; company pays travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).

Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 hourly/DOE
