Job Purpose:

Provides guests with golf cars and supplies

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides guests with golf cars and supplies by retrieving abandoned golf cars, washing, polishing, and staging golf cars based on business needs, retrieving golf balls from the range, cleaning, sorting, and ensuring range balls availability, stocking golf cars with tees, pencils and scorecards, filling sand bottles and placing them in staged cars, acknowledging and welcoming guests approaching golf car staging area, responding to guest requests, promptly delivering golf cars and requested supplies, storing cars in designated storage building, and logging car usage following established procedures.

Maintains a clean and orderly driving range by removing and storing empty golf ball baskets, removing and disposing of trash and debris, and storing range equipment in designated area.

Promotes guest relations by greeting guests throughout the property, offering appropriate up to date information regarding promotional contests and giveaways, providing requested assistance and product knowledge, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner.

- 10%
Maintains cleanliness of car storage building by keeping area organized, trash free and swept, including areas surrounding car storage building, pine glen, driving range, and main golf shop.

Education and Experience:

Essential:

Driver's License in good standing
Must be 18 years of age

Skills and Knowledge:
Essential:

General knowledge of the game of golf
Ability to walk and/or jog up to 400 yards
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
Ability to create forms and documents
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
Ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
Ability to appear for work on time
Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
Ability to accept constructive criticism
