ASI Hastings - Champions Group seeks an Early Career Electrical Safety Inspection Trainee to support safe, reliable HVAC service for residential and light commercial customers in Hastings, NE. In this entry-level, field-based role, you'll assist senior technicians with electrical safety inspections on heating and cooling systems, perform basic testing and visual checks, and help document findings. You'll follow strict safety and NEC guidelines, care for tools and vehicles, and interact professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with electrical safety inspections on HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings
• Perform basic testing, visual inspections, and documentation under supervision
• Follow OSHA, NEC, and company safety protocols at all times
• Record findings, complete inspection checklists, and support accurate reporting
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and job sites in clean, safe working condition
• Communicate courteously with customers and represent the company professionally
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs
• Support installation, maintenance, and repair tasks as skills develop
