We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Multi-Drill Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and setting up the multi-drill press, ensuring product quality, monitoring material specifications, performing preventive maintenance, and meeting daily production schedules. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

• Operate and set up the upper multi-drill press for optimal performance and productivity.
• Drill upper ends according to the daily production schedule.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and tolerance compliance.
• Verify drilled ends using shelf clips to ensure proper diameter and depth specifications.
• Maintain responsibility for the quality of all processed parts.
• Accurately complete daily material usage and production data entry.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance activities in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through regular housekeeping activities.
• Meet daily production goals and scheduled work requirements.
• Lead by example regarding attendance, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, break compliance, and adherence to company policies.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Mill Department Supervisor.

• Ability to set up and operate a multi-drill press for maximum efficiency and quality.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a measuring tape.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency while meeting hourly production goals.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant manufacturing or machine operation experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or machine operator role is preferred.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Some heavy lifting may be required.
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial equipment.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators in designated areas.
