Job Summary

This person will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Technician in repairing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the manufacturing plant. He/She will also be responsible for performing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment.

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Dismantle machines or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and repair or replace.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned Work Requests and Checklists.
• Assist with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations.
• Special duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Basic tools to perform the above tasks required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have basic industrial mechanical skills.
• Experience in industrial electrical a plus.
• Ability to enter daily work performed in CMMS Software.
• Must be able to read and follow written instructions.

Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions

• Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
