Responsible in providing warm line support in ECRMC’s call center and navigation of services for patients. Responsible for registering and admitting patient in an efficient and orderly manner; ensures the collection of accurate patient information, signatures and explains to patient ECRMC’s policies, procedures, patient’s rights, patient’s directives and consent forms. Responsible in aiding in the assessment of patient’s barriers to healthcare and planning of services to assist them with those needs (i.e. scheduling physician office visits and coordinating transportation when needed).

Operates a private branch exchange (PBX) console relaying incoming and outgoing calls, pages authorized personnel, acts as hospital receptionist, processes all outgoing and incoming mail, assists in admitting patient, and serves as cashier, as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• On the job training or equivalent training in admitting procedures
• Types 40 WPM

Position Pay Range: $18.63- $27.45/hour

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
