We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Principal to lead our elementary charter school in providing a nurturing and academically rigorous environment for our students. Ballington Academy is a charter school in El Centro, CA and has an enrollment of 275 students. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

As the Principal, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, developing and implementing curriculum enhancements, and working collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and parents to ensure student success.

In this role, you will lead by example and serve as a role model for our school community. You will be instrumental in promoting a positive school culture, maintaining high academic standards, and supporting the social and emotional well-being of our students. Additionally, you will work to build strong partnerships with local stakeholders, participate in community outreach initiatives, and advocate for the needs of our school.

• Bachelor’s degree in education, liberal arts, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
• Clear California Teaching Credential and California Administrative Credential.
• Minimum of 3 years administrator experience.
• Previous experience in an elementary charter school or district leadership position.
• In depth knowledge of project-based instruction
• Knowledge of common core curriculum, standards and effective teaching practices.
• Ability to establish a school climate and implement school vision.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently is strongly preferred
