Overview
Under general direction, performs professional engineering work and system studies related to the District’s power system short-term planning activities with particular emphasis on supporting System Operations, transmission switching operations and system impact analyses in support of long-term transmission requests to interconnect or wheel power on the District’s transmission system pursuant to the District’s open access tariff. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Support System Operations, transmission switching operations, and system impact analyses in support of long-term transmission requests to interconnect or wheel power on the District’s transmission system pursuant to the District’s open access tariff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or other related engineering field or Associate’s degree with a major in Engineering and four years of transmission planning and design experience and Engineering-In-Training Certificate is required.
- A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
