Founding Infrastructure Engineer (AI Startup)

Seeking a hands-on Founding Infrastructure Engineer to build and own the company's cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops, security, deployment, and production reliability from day one. This is a startup leadership role requiring end-to-end ownership of AI infrastructure, customer deployments, and scalable cloud systems.

• 5+ years of infrastructure, Dev Ops, backend, or platform engineering experience.
• Prior startup experience building and operating production cloud environments.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment automation, and production operations.
• Expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, authentication/authorization, and distributed systems.
• Proficient in Python and Type Script;
  React/full-stack experience is a plus.
• Experience improving system reliability, observability, monitoring, backup/recovery, and incident response.
• Familiarity with SOC 2/security compliance and enterprise deployment architectures.
• Experience deploying AI applications or AI agents into production.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and owning technical decisions.
• Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments with high ownership.

• Strong problem solver who can balance infrastructure, backend engineering, and customer-facing work.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools to accelerate development while understanding their limitations.
• Self-starter with excellent prioritization and execution skills.
