Our humanitarian work includes serving refugee and migrant populations with physical and mental health services to facilitate family reunification.

Schedule:

Full-time, 36-48 hour work week. Day, Night, and Weekend shifts. Pay: $75 per hour + $4.93 fringe. Housing and weekly stipend provided for travelers.

• Provides direct care to patients.
• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork for patients.
• Evaluates and provides care per SOP with medical follow-up for sick calls and walk-ins.
• Provides emergency and First Aid treatment within the scope of work until care is transferred to a local healthcare system as appropriate.
• Performs limited, minor surgical procedures that do not require extensive care, labs, or radiographic studies (e.g., simple suturing of uncomplicated lacerations, incision and drainage of simple cysts).
• Reviews and reevaluates daily or as necessary cases requiring ongoing medical/pharmaceutical attention.
• Carries out orders authorized by the physician supervisor.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records.
• Applies knowledge of drugs and therapeutics when prescribing and dispensing medication.

• ANY STATE LICENSE ACCEPTED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine setting.
• NP education or training:
  Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by NLNAC or CCNE. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Must be comfortable with all age groups 0-99.
• Experience with communicable diseases.
• Must have or obtain a BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Tier 4 security clearance is required to start.
