We are seeking an advanced practitioner to become a part of our team and work in our Chula Vista, CA clinic. You will focus on providing high quality patient care. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience in Geriatrics, Neurology and or adjacent fields preferred.

Responsibilities
  • In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistance is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
  • The NP/PA must be self‑directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
  • The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
  • Document services rendered.
Job Qualifications
  • California NP or PA license required
  • DEA
  • Previous experience in neurology preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
