ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The
Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
· Manage and monitor work orders.
· Overlook Tool room handling and login.
· Gather quotes, estimate, and procure materials for coordinating and overlooking repairs.
· Inspected the Facility for potential Repairs for future work and emergency status.
· Manage the work services Employees provide and repairs made.
· Ability to use computers and Microsoft office (Excel, word) send and Receive emails, log into CMMS and operate CMMS.
· Assist workers in the field when needed.
· Data entry, filing, recordkeeping.
· Generate paperwork and complete it in a timely manner.
· Having knowledge of materials on site and materials needed to complete a workorder or projected.
· Willing to work outside normal working hours to complete a repair or emergency call out.
· Other duties as requested by Projected Manager. QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. · 3 years’ Experience supervising maintenance work
· Working Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC General Maintenance
· Pass DHS / ICE facility access background check Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
· Self-Motivated
· Dependable
· Work well with others in a team environment
· Good Communication Skills
· Basic Computer skills (word, Excel, Outlook) Preferred
· Supervisor experience Managing multiple Trades
· HVAC or Electrical Background
· Multitask NECESSARY
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Essential and marginal Function may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time;
most of time is spent walking around moving about with opportunity to site down to work on Paperwork when needed. DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
· This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The job is performed in an office / building / outdoor setting with exposure to outdoor elements. The work described herein is primarily inside and outside work environment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervises maintenance staff
· Review work order and report to Project Manager if Materials are needed
· Scop out area were work order came from to see if job can be completed with Materials on hand or need to purchase Materials. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
