The HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing and completing the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role leads on-site installation crews, ensures high-quality workmanship, provides technical expertise, and maintains exceptional customer satisfaction. The Lead Installer ensures all work complies with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company quality benchmarks.

Qualifications
  • Experience:

    3–5+ years of dedicated HVAC installation experience.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Deep understanding of modern HVAC machinery, ductwork layouts, and field best practices.
  • Certifications:

    EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
  • Licensing:
    Valid driver’s license with a consistently clean driving history.
  • Physical:
    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work comfortably in tight spaces (attics, crawls, or rooftops).

  • Strong time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations.
  • Effectively communicates both verbally and written.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum six months prior HVAC installation experience.
  • High school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job.
  • Valid driver’s license and remains insurable under company insurance policy.
