Job Summary

Oversees Asphalt Operations by managing commercial supply, including third‑party purchases, month‑end close, and invoice processing. Key responsibilities include validating purchase orders, reconciling chemical usage, monitoring receipts and costs, maintaining exchange agreements, and coordinating rail movements.

This role also involves executing and auditing customer sales contracts, ensuring accuracy in billing, and collaborating with vendors and off‑site teams to support efficient operations.

Education And Experience
  • 4‑year / Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Four (4) or more years Experience in a relevant area (Required)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.
Job Requirements
  • Oversees & supports Asphalt Operations team
  • Manages monthly requisitions for all third‑party asphalt and additive purchases
  • Reviews and verifies all purchase documents for accuracy
  • Validates all purchase orders (POs) for month‑end close
  • Oversees documentation for asphalt month‑end close
  • Matches receipts against EOM reports from terminals and/or EDR for accuracy
  • Performs chemical reconciliation of receipts and usage across all locations
  • Monitors and analyzes receipts, recording all costs, including freight, in internal systems
  • Maintains and manages exchange agreements
  • Processes, tracks and oversees billing for rail movements
  • Coordinates with vendors to schedule and move railcars
  • Codes and approves invoices within established limits, including non‑freight expenses such as advertising and terminal fees
  • Collaborates with off‑site locations to verify invoice accuracy and ensure timely processing
  • Executes OTC_R_42 for new customer sales contracts for Refinery locations (EDR/BSR) on a monthly basis
  • Completes OTC_R_46 for random audits of customer contract deals throughout the year
