Fuels Risk Specialist

This role supports the Fuels team by reviewing customer credit risk, setting up and maintaining customer accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, and assisting with cash forecasting. The position works closely with customers, traders, accounting, and operations to help manage financial risk while supporting business growth.

• Review customer financial information and assess creditworthiness.
• Recommend and maintain credit limits for new and existing customers.
• Obtain and track collateral, guarantees, and letters of credit when needed.
• Monitor customer balances, exposures, and overdue accounts.
• Communicate with customers regarding payments and collections.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports related to credit exposure and cash receipts.
• Assist with weekly cash forecasting activities.
• Reconcile and enter daily customer payments.
• Set up and maintain customer accounts, product authorizations, and terminal access.
• Troubleshoot account and loading issues at fuel terminals.
• Support monthly reporting requirements and audit requests.
• Assist with SOX testing and other internal control activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, accounts receivable, treasury, banking, or a similar finance function.
• Strong Excel skills including working with financial reports.
• Experience with forecasting, cash management, reconciliations, or credit risk is preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial information and make sound business recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Oil & gas, fuels, commodities, or energy industry experience is a plus but not required.
