Cat B Operator - Downstairs

At this time, we are looking for a CV Operator-Upstairs to join our Amer Cable team.

• Set up and operate downstairs areas of the catenary line.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments.
• Work safely and follow all safety rules.
• Follow all plant rules.
• Produce quality products using working instructions, SOPs, One-Point Lessons, and other training.
• Comply with Amer Cable 5S standards at all times.
• Sustain ISO 9001.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Take directions from supervisors and perform other duties as requested.
• Adhere to Amer Cable’s Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices.
• Follow and abide by Amer Cable Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Standards.

• High School Diploma
• 2-Year associate’s degree, WAGE Certification, or Manufacturing Experience
• Must be able to physically move material
• Must be able to pass Amer Cable lift truck operator safety course
• Good reading comprehension and basic math skills
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to operate a workstation computer
• Must be able to use stairs to access the upstairs operator area
• Ability to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and holidays
