As a CV Catenary Downstairs Operator, you play a critical role in supporting the production of high‑quality electric cable used in mining and oil and gas applications. Working closely with the Upstairs Operator, you ensure production lines are set up efficiently and that cable output consistently meets required specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards.

• Provide real‑time updates and feedback to the Upstairs Operator on cured catenary cable conditions to support production accuracy
• Operate safely at all times, strictly following all safety rules, plant policies, and safe work practices
• Produce high‑quality cable by following established work instructions, SOPs, One‑Point Lessons, and training guidelines
• Maintain compliance with Amer Cable 5S standards and contribute to workplace organization and efficiency
• Support ongoing ISO
  9001 standards and quality systems
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth production processes
• Follow direction from supervisors and perform additional duties as required
• Consistently adhere to Amer Cable’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Standards

• High School Diploma required
• Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
• Physically capable of moving materials and performing manual tasks
• Ability to successfully complete a lift truck operator safety course
• Strong reading comprehension and basic math skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Comfortable using workstation computers for production tasks
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
