Summary:

A registered nurse at Baptist Health is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and the training provided to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The RN demonstrates clinical competence and critical thinking, adheres to department policies, and collaborates with the healthcare team to create an exceptional patient experience with optimal outcomes.

• Utilize the nursing process and provided training to deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking in clinical decision-making.
• Know and apply departmental policies and organizational requirements within a unified workflow with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or Registered Nurse in good standing, licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas.
• BSN preferred.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to meet standard of care.
• Practices as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.
• RN not actively participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
• Healthcare CPR required; some areas may require ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS; training provided.
• Specialty units require and will provide specific specialty education.
