Student Worker: El Dorado Advising

Responsibilities

The Advising student worker will be responsible for performing office tasks. Primary duties include answering phones, greeting students, other general office duties, and providing customer service to employees and students.

The applicant may be requested to authorize the college to procure consumer reports for employment purposes.

The college does not sponsor employment visas or consider individuals on time-limited visa status.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive work relationships with staff and students.
• Ability to work independently to complete assignments accurately with little supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
• Experience in a general office environment.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Must be enrolled in at least one credit hour at Butler Community College.
