Job Duties

Butler Community College is seeking a full-time biology faculty member to teach a range of biology courses, including (but not limited to) introductory biology, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology. Faculty may teach evenings, at multiple sites, and online. Prospective candidates must be skilled in a variety of instructional techniques and technologies, with a demonstrated commitment to student engagement and learning outcomes assessment.

The successful candidate will value teaching a diverse community college student population and contributing to a collaborative academic department. Faculty teaching load and related duties assigned as outlined by the Master Agreement.

Required experience

Prior teaching experience.

Required educational background

Master's degree with at least 18 hours within discipline.
