Position Title Professional Nursing Tutor

The purpose of the Professional Nursing Tutor will be to support student success through, but not limited to, tutoring and mentoring. In addition to tutoring for Nursing, the expectation is the professional tutor will also be able to assist students with support courses required for the pre-nursing and nursing programs. The position requires flexible work hours which will include tutoring in El Dorado primarily and potentially the Andover campus.

• A. One year of teaching or professional tutoring in a related field is preferred.
• B. Active or recently inactive nursing license.
• C. Experience preferred in competency-based instruction, computer-assisted instruction and learning management systems.

• A minimum of an associate degree in nursing is required.
