Job Duties
The peer educator will work with Counseling Services staff and will be responsible for providing information to students.
Work shifts will be at outreach tables in various campus buildings. Primary responsibilities include greeting students, providing resources, and promoting a positive attitude about seeking help and wellbeing. The student worker will be primarily working on the El Dorado campus.
The student can also assist the counselors with student mental health events on campus during the semester if scheduling allows. Majoring in healthcare isn’t required. Peer training will be provided.
