Job Duties

The Endpoint Admin Student Worker provides technical assistance and support for endpoint management tasks across campus. This position focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, software deployments, security configurations, and device compliance. The role involves working closely with endpoint administration staff to ensure endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers) are properly configured, updated, and secured.

Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management concepts or willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical users.
Required experience

Prior technical experience and working with the public is preferred.

Required educational background

Must be enrolled in at least one credit hour at Butler Community College.
