Set up, operate, and maintain the flux core submerged arc seam welding machine to place a continuous seam weld on one or two sides of pole shafts;
Fuse (weld) metal structural components together using submerged arc welding processes in fabrication of steel electrical poles and other structures;
Read and interpret blueprints and/or shop drawings; determine operation sequence;
Move pole shafts using an overhead crane and gather parts and materials to complete the project;
Perform repetitive assembly operations according to established procedures and use hand tools and measuring devices as required
