Valmont Industries - 955 North Haverhill Road - Responsibilities:
Fit and weld steel, metal and aluminum components together to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders using a variety of welding equipment and/or processes;
Tack weld material into place and assemble products of the unit by tack welding various small parts to pole shafts using the GMAW, FCAW, and/or SAW welding process;
Read and decipher blueprints and flat sheets without assistance; measure on radiused surfaces;
Operate overhead cranes or jib cranes to move and hold material in place; maintain and operate production tooling and fixtures and welding equipment;
Maintain a safe and productive work environment; follow LEAN practices and meet production goals; perform general maintenance and setup of equipment; ensure quality and safety requirements are met
